We had a lovely holiday, despite the somewhat wild weather. The lodge was in a good location, near to the airport and some lovely beaches with lots of things for a family to do. We had just about the perfect weekend, the weather was unbelievably good for time of year. Blue skies, temperatures were warm and in our t shirts. On arrival found the accommodation to be very clean and tidy. This was our first trip away without the children and a memorable one. North Cornwall is so beautiful in autumn and we want to return.

We had an AMAZING holiday thank you soooooooooo much! The lodge took our breath away when we entered; the kitchen is twice as big as the one in our own house! It was a real treat to have all the extras available; iron, washing machine etc, plus the use of the shed items.
We would love to return again at some point.
The only down side is the lack of shop on site, quite unsual for a holiday village to be without a shop, but we soon got organised and found supermarkets on our way to and from destinations.
Thank you again for the use of your lodge; it was definitely a holiday we’ll remember!

Unfortunately the shop is in probate, which I was unaware of and have now been advised could open very shortly.
There are two mini markets in St. Merryn approximately two miles away and they are open until late in the summer. Tesco supermarkets are at Padstow and Wadgebridge, Asda and Sainsbury’s are at Bodmin. These supermarkets offer a delivery service to the lodge if required, more information on their websites.
I have now added new pages to the guest’s folder concerning supermarket information in the area, such as opening and closing times, directions etc. The folder is held at the lodge for guests to use.

Hi David. Thanks for the email, we were very impressed with the lodge, spotlessly clean and all the appliances we could need.
The kids appreciated the body boards and the crab lines in the shed too. Weather was great for the week and we managed to see a major lump of Cornwall and had a couple of very hot days on the beach.
