TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

   RESERVATIONS  

  • All bookings are subject to availability.   
  • Print the booking form from website and forward your completed details with deposit payment. Cheque payment to Mrs J. Potter. When received confirmation will be sent of booking by email or letter at our earliest convenience. Please check availability before sending booking form. 
  • DEPOSIT  
  • The deposit payment is non returnable therefore the client is recommended to arrange comprehensive travel insurance as this includes cancellation cover, personal belongings, etc. These things are NOT covered by the owners insurance.
  • Full payment of the balance is required six weeks prior to the hired period commencing.  The full balance payment cheque and £60.00 security deposit cheque are both required.  The security deposit cheque will be held but not cashed.  
  • The owners reserve the right to re-let the property if payment has not been received by the date due. A termination notice would be given in writing.
  • RETURNABLE DEPOSIT 
  • A returnable security deposit cheque of £60 is required against any breakages or deliberate damage to the property. The security deposit cheque will be returned after the park manager and cleaner report.
  • The owners reserve the right to make a retainer from the security deposit cheque if the client leaves the property in an unacceptable condition.
  • CLIENT OBLIGATIONS 
  • A maximum of five adults & three children are allowed in the holiday lodge. The party shall consist exactly as listed on the booking form.
  • Vacate by 10 am on day of departure and new arrivals collect keys 3 pm onwards. We will do everything we can to get you in before this time. We can not guarantee, but normally the lodge is available by mid day. 
  • Parents are responsible for their children at all times. No child to be left unattended in the lodge.
  • The clients must be over 25 yrs old & no all male/female groups. The holiday park has certain strict rules operated by the park managers and without exception will not allow young groups. If booking form has been completed dishonesty, on arrival will find holiday cancelled and no refund will be given. The park and our lodge is designed for mature couples and families. 
  • No dogs/pets allowed & strictly no smoking inside the lodge.
  • The client is responsible for the contents whilst in their possession and any breakages or damage must be reported to the park managers.
  • Forgotten Items, guests are requested to carefully check the lodge before vacating. The lodge owners can not be held responsible to return any items left behind.
  • CANCELLATION 
  • In the event of a cancellation, refunds of the balance will only be made if the owners are able to rebook the lodge. Any expenses incurred trying to rebook will be deducted from the refunded balance. If we can not rebook the balance will be void. We recommend to purchase comprehensive travel insurance including cancellation cover. 
  • LIABILITY  
  • The owners shall not be liable to the client for stoppage of public services to the property such as water, gas & electricity.
  • The owners shall not be liable to the client for any loss, damage or injury to their party. These matters are beyond the control of the owners.
  • The owners shall also not be liable for inconvenience caused if the lodge became unavailable, destroyed by fire or badly damaged before the start of a rental period. In these unforeseen circumstances a full refund would be given, deposit and balance payment. The owners are not responsible to find alternate accommodation, but would try to provide similar accommodation.
