Question:

How can I pay, I do not own a cheque book? do you accept credit cards?

Answer:

Best method of payment is by electronic bank transfer, if you do not use on-line banking can pay at your local branch. Paypal is offered for paying by credit cards, cheque payment is accepted when there is time for clearance.

Question:

What does provisionally booked mean?

Answer:

When your request is received, you would be pencilled in for date you requested. If payment has not been received after three days it is assumed the holiday is no longer wanted and will become available for sale again, sold on a first come, first served basics.

Question:

I have paid the deposit but now have to cancel the holiday.

Answer:

The deposit payment is non returnable and we recommend to take out holiday insurance as you may be able to claim this back. Depending on circumstances, a long weekend out of season break may be offered to the value of the deposit payment as we want our guests to feel they have received good value.

Question:

I have paid the full balance but now have to cancel the holiday.

Answer:

We strongly recommend taking out holiday insurance as you may be able to claim the loss money back. The lodge owner would try and re sell the date again with permission of the guest, the less time there is, the less chance of re selling the date. If the date was sold again, balance payment would be returned, minus advertising costs.

Question:

Why do prices differ on the park?

Answer:

When searching on internet for prices, it is worth considering three main factors:

Location of accommodation, situated on a main road or in a quiet cul-de-sac?

Size of accommodation, a small two bed or a large three bed that is twice the size?

How well equipped the home is, are children toys, games console and beach items provided?

Holiday Park Questions

Question:

Does the park have a swimming pool and evening entertainment?

Answer:

The nearest swimming pool is at Wadebridge Leisure Centre, a short drive away. In high season there is limited entertainment at nearby Maribou and Atlantic bays holiday parks, both walking distance from the property.

You will not find candy floss, a kiss me quick hat, McDonalds or bingo in the area. The theme for the park and area, is relaxation, a place to chill out and a get away from it all.

St. Merryn Park has two tennis courts, (we provide two rackets and balls) pub, restaurant and plenty of open space for ball games, kite flying etc. The park is surrounded by stunning Cornish country side, nearby coastal walks belong to the national trust.

If you want organised entertainment for children, a Haven or Park Dean site may be more suited.

Question:

Is the park open all year?

Answer:

Yes, open all year.

Where is the nearest big supermarket?

Answer:

Tesco and Asda offer a delivery service to the property if required. Tesco branches at Padstow and a bigger store at Wadebridge, on West Hill. Two spar supermarkets in St. Merryn, a couple of miles away from property. Walking distance from the property is a shop on the park and at Atlantic Bays.

Answer:

The nearby farm shop sells meat, vegetables, dairy products and is situated at Prideaux Place, Tregirls, Padstow. The farm closes at 4pm daily and overlooks the stunning Cornish sea. The Daily Telegraph rated the shop as one of the best places to shop in the area. www.padstowfarmshop.co.uk

We have never been to the area before, where are the best places to visit?
